Checkpoint Charlie and the Wall Museum
Since the weather was pretty crappy it was a good day to spend inside. I figured I’d visit Checkpoint Charlie and the Berlin Wall Museum. It wasn’t really what I expected. Probably less than half of the museum was about the wall and the cold war. The rest was about NATO and international relations during and after the cold war. The exhibits covered all the way up to the war in Iraq. Not really what I expected from a German museum about the Berlin wall.
Other than that it was a slow day. I’ve learned to take it easy in the morning and plan my day then venture out in the afternoon evening when most stuff is open and things are happening.
Also there aren’t any photos from the museum itself. They don’t allow any photos inside and the building itself is boring.
