Today I made the trip up to the home of BMW.  When I first arrived I found the information desk and ask about a tour of the plant.  They said that everything was booked but I could come in early on Tuesday to see if there were any open spots for the afternoon tour.  That’s what I get for not calling ahead of time.  Apparently the tours can have over a month wait until the next opening.

Since taking a tour today was a bust I decided I could at least check out BMW World and the museum.  Definitely spent WAY to much time there and too WAY to many pictures (I think about 200).  I only included a few of the good ones.

After getting my fill of car history I headed over to Marienplatz to see the Glockenspiel.  I attempted to get a video of it but it turned out pretty poor.

Since I wasn’t too pleased with the video I walked a few blocks over to Viktualienmarkt.  I walked through the store fronts for a bit and then decided to have a beer in the biergarten.  Let’s just call this pre-gaming…
