Berlin Zoological Garden

Since I pretty much walked constantly the past two days I decided to take it easy today and then since the weather was nice I figured I’d check out the zoo.  I’ll spare you with a ton of pictures of animals but I’ll include some of the more interesting finds.

Other than the zoo it was a pretty uneventful day.  No train ride issues or getting lost.  I had a “sandwich” made with schnitzel for lunch (on the train since I was behind schedule) and some pizza for dinner.  While looking for dinner I did stumble across a very strange clock.  It’s hard to tell from the photo that it’s a clock since it just looks like a big chemistry set.

When I got back to the house I did get a chance to sit and talk with my hosts in the evening.  It was fun to swap stories and get some ideas of places to check out.  The weather is supposed to be nice again tomorrow (clear and high in the mid 70s) so I may swing by and walk through the Tiergarten.
