Not Bowling and the Casino

We had originally planned to go for a small hike to a nearby castle.  We were going to meet up with some friends and have a picnic but it rained all day instead.  So to keep ourselves entertained we decided to go bowling.  We drive over the the bowling alley just to find out that there are no lanes available the entire day.  Apparently Sunday is a big league day.  So instead we played some pool for a while.

On the way back we decided to stop in at the casino for a bit.  That plan was foiled too as I needed my passport to get in but I didn’t have it with me.  Strike two; back to the house.

Once we got there we watched some TV and then headed back out to the casino with my passport.  There weren’t any tables open so we played some slot machines for a bit.  It took me a while to get used to it because everything was in German.  I can tell you that I didn’t hit and jackpots.

Other than that it was a quiet day.  The weather really messed up the plans for today.
